Junior teams from across Western Australia will take to the fields at McGillivray Oval, Perth this weekend to compete in the Touch Football WA ‘Be Active’ Junior State Championships.
The two day event will be held on Saturday, 29 March and Sunday, 30 March, with teams competing in age groups ranging from under eight’s through to under 18’s.
After taking part in day one of the event, the teams will head to NIB Stadium to watch the Canterbury Bulldogs versus Melbourne Storm NRL match. The 2014 WA ‘Be Active’ State Championships Women’s finalists, Fremantle and Perth Brothers, will play at half-time of the game in a replay of February’s grand final.
