A record 328 teams from across the state will travel to Port Macquarie to participate in the 2014 New South Wales Junior State Cup this weekend.
Teams will compete across 12 divisions, ranging from under 10’s Boys and Girls through to under 18’s Boys and Girls, with the event to be held on Saturday, 15 February and Sunday, 16 February at the Port Macquarie Regional Sports Stadium and Tuffins Lane precinct.
Approximately 5,000 players will take part in the event, as well as over 350 referees, with a total of 15,000 people expected to travel to Port Macquarie (including spectators) for one of the world’s largest Touch Football events.
Round games will be played on Saturday as well as Sunday morning, with finals taking place on Sunday afternoon.
Manly Warringah Touch Association will be hopeful of claiming its third consecutive Club Champion title in 2014, having played in five of the 10 finals on offer last year and winning three titles.
