50 teams from over 15 affiliates across Western Australia will battle it out this weekend when they compete in the 2014 Touch Football WA ‘Be Active’ State Championships at McGillivary Oval, Mt Claremont.
The Championships will also have an international feel, with Malaysia and an international Monsoon team competing in the three day event.
Touch Football Australia’s High Performance Manager, Wayne Grant and Australian Mixed Open assistant coach, Justin Creighton, will also run a ‘Trends of the Game’ workshop on Saturday morning.
Round games will be played on Friday and Saturday before finals take place on Sunday, with grand finals being played at the following times:
11.25am – Men’s 40’s
12.25pm – Women’s 27’s
1.30pm – Women’s 35’s
2.35pm – Men’s 30’s
3.40pm – Women’s Open
4.45pm – Mixed Open
5.50pm – Men’s Open
