The Nation’s Capital is being visited by junior representative teams from Queensland this week for a week-long tour in Canberra.

 

The Queenslanders are being accommodated at the Australian Institute of Sport where they are undertaking Touch Football specific training sessions conducted by their Queensland Junior Representative Coaches. They are also getting the unique opportunity to undertake programs offered at the AIS as well as having use of the state of the art facilities.

 

Queensland’s Under 14 and Under 16 Boys and Girls sides will be put to the test as they take on older opponents, in the Under 16 and Under 18 ACT sides respectively on Saturday, 15 December. Games will be held at the Raiders Belconnen fields in Kippax, and kick off at 10.00am with the last games getting under way at 3.00pm.
