Several Touch Footballers have been chosen in the 2013 Women’s All Stars Rugby League team that will take on the Indigenous Women’s All Stars in the curtain-raiser to the 2013 Harvey Norman Rugby League All Stars match next February.

2011 Australian 20’s Girls representative, Samantha Hammond, 2012 New South Wales Women’s 20’s representative, Emma Tonegato and 2009 Australian 20’s Girls representative, Ali Brigginshaw have all been named in the All Stars team, while 2012 New South Wales Combined High Schools representative, Nakia Davis-Welsh has been named in the Indigenous All Stars team.  

The women’s teams will play in the curtain-raiser to the 2013 Harvey Norman Rugby League All Stars match between Wayne Bennett’s NRL All Stars and Laurie Daley’s Indigenous All Stars on Saturday, 9 February.

The Women’s All Stars won the inaugural All Stars clash in 2011, with this year’s game finishing in a draw.
