180 teams from across Queensland took to the fields at Hervey Bay Sports Complex last weekend to compete in the 2012 Queensland Junior State Cup.

The Gold Coast was rewarded for its strong performances on the field, winning the Eggers Moles affiliate championship, making three of the 10 finals at the event.

At the event it was also announced that Hervey Bay will host the championships for the next five years.
