Touch Football’s link with Rugby continues to build with Australian Representative Drumayne Dayberg-Muir named in the Australian Rugby Sevens team to contest the IRB World Series tournament which kicks off in Dubai next weekend.

This continues a growing relationship between elite Touch Football and Rugby, with Australian Men’s Open Coach Tony Trad assisting the South African Sevens team last year, and female players Nicole Beck and Selene Thornton, members of the 2008 Wallaroos Squad.

The Sevens preparations saw the team in action against the ACT Brumbies yesterday, with fellow Touch Football, and returning Sevens representative Willie Bishop scoring in the 27-17 victory.
