

The New South Wales Touch Association (NSWTA) will host the 13th Annual Junior State Cup (JSC) of Touch Football this weekend from the 16-17 February 2008 at the Thomas Dalton Park, Wollongong.
The showcase event on the NSWTA calendar is the largest participant Touch Football event in the world featuring over 290 teams across 10 highly competitive divisions.
Over 5000 players, coaches, referees, administrators, staff, and spectators are expected to converge on the picturesque Illawarra regional venue.
Teams from 50 different affiliates will compete in age groups from Under 10 - Under 18 in Boys and Girls divisions in a non-stop weekend of fast and furious action featuring the brightest and best of New South Wales junior Touch football talent.
Competition is expected to be fierce for the duration of the 2-day event that will consist of a marathon 260 games on 26 fields.
2007’s JSC Club Champions Manly are again expected to be a force, along with Wagga Wagga, who contested six divisional finals last year, and traditional junior Touch Football powerhouses Penrith who will be looking to claim their share of crowns.
The tournament commences at 8.00am Saturday 16 February from 8.00am-5.00pm.
Games continue from 8.00am on Sunday 17 February 2008 with Finals commencing from 2.30pm –5.00pm.
