Date of Birth Filter

The latest release has now updated to provide the administrators to charge fees to players and sell merchandise to specific age ranges instead of the board “year” age that was previously in place.

If you don’t take fees through the system you’ll still be required to add a $0 fee to the system to allow members to register.

You can use a large date range such as 01/01/1900 to 31/12/2030 if you aren’t taking different fees for different ages.

The DOB option has replaced the “ages” in the following sections of the database.

2. Saleable Items

3. Additional Questions

Advantages:

• You can now charge fees that are relative to your competition start and end date
• You can now offer merchandise to a more specific and relevant target group.
• You can now target questions more specifically to players within a specific date range.

Competition Ages:

• This change does not impact the ages that are selected in the competition settings
• This change does not impact the ages that are set in the team creation and assignment
• This change does not impact the age that is displayed on the member profile
• This change does not impact the age that is displayed to administrators under “my members”.
