TFA Strategic Plan

2016-2020-strategic-plan

Touch Football Australia: TFA Strategic Plan 2016-2020

We are on a journey to consolidate Touch Football’s position as one of Australia’s leading community sports.

Our collective approach to the growth and improvement of the product our participants enjoy will see the sport touch the lives of more than one million Australians annually by 2020.

The attached Touch Football Australia Strategic Plan 2016-2020 outlines the approach to see the sport evolve, not only through the ways we deliver the game itself, but in the manner in which we embrace these changes and engage with the current and future membership. The Strategic Plan provides the framework for us to address the challenges ahead and ensure there is a place on the field for everyone.

The foundation of the 2011-2015 strategic cycle means the sport now has the stability and capacity to advance our goals with vigour, determination and commitment. The input from key stakeholders through the extensive consultation process during the latter part of 2015 means the Strategic Plan is a shared vision for the whole sport.

Participation Plan 2018 – 2020.

The sport of NRL Touch Football appeals to both genders and all ages, and participation in this healthy activity helps build fitness, confidence, self-esteem, friendships and stronger communities. Touch football, like other sports, is operating in a rapidly changing and challenging environment. Australians are experiencing time and financial pressures, and are inundated with fitness and entertainment options.
