Touch Football is the perfect sport for families to play together because it provides families the opportunity to play in the same team, whether that be the parents play together, the children play together, or the whole family plays together. Everybody in the family can be involved in playing Touch Football together, with even grandparents playing in competitions across Australia.Touch Football prides itself as a family sport. Family sports are great because they not only improve your health and well-being, they provide a way to bond, and Touch Football is the best sport for that.

Successful Touch Football families are common to come across. One example is Dylan and Emily Hennessey, husband and wife, who are slated to play in the 2017 Trans Tasman Series, with Emily’s sister Sam Hopkins playing in the 2015 Touch Football World Cup. Also, playing in the 2017 Trans Tasman series is the Davis sisters, Danielle and Rachelle.

Not only does Touch Football Australia boast some families playing together, Touch Football also possess some famous Rugby League names. Matt Moylan and Benji Marshall are the two main NRL stars that have family playing Touch Football, both at an elite level. Ben Moylan and Jordan Marshall-King are two of Australia’s best talent.

With this family, friendly aspect of the sport, comes a healthy social environment that is welcoming, where very few sports can compete. We work hard to create and deliver a positive, safe experience for all.
